About me
I am currently working at Sarmap as an Earth Observation Engineer in Switzerland, where I contribute to the development of various tools for SARscape products.
I have a PhD in Signal and Image Processing with the title 'Multi-level Fusion for Visual Question Answering on Remote Sensing Images'. My PhD was conducted in collaboration between Université Paris Cité and ONERA, and focuses on extracting meaningful information from both optical and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imagery. All my projects emphasize interpretability, with a growing interest in explainability. My research methods involved the fusion of image features with textual queries, employing techniques such as segmentation and attention mechanisms. The ultimate aim was to produce comprehensive responses by effectively combining visual data from different sensors with the contextual information embedded in the questions.Beyond remote sensing, I am passionate about different fields in image processing and computer vision, including human behaviour analysis, forensic studies, sports analysis and medical studies.
